Cupcake was rescued from San Antonio Animals Care Services on February 7, 2018. She was injured when she arrived ACS but adopted by San Antonio R.O.C.K.S and me (as her foster parent). We didn’t know what was wrong with her, all we knew was that she was very injured and couldn’t walk. She came home with me on the 7th with a doctor’s appointment scheduled on the morning of the 8th. We we got to the vet, she could not be repaired and passed away. As a foster parent, her sweet soul touched my heart in ways it had never been touched before. She gave and received so much love in the 15 hours that I knew her. Rest in peace sweet Cupcake and thank you for showing me that love is not always easy.
